About The Event
The Brazilian Topology Meeting (EBT) began in 1979. Since 1980, it has been held every two years, establishing itself as a high-level international event for Topology, attracting Brazilian and foreign researchers internationally renowned. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the XXII edition was postponed from 2020 to 2022.
The main topics that have been addressed in the meetings are the following: fixed points, coincidences, roots, foliations, locally free group actions, characteristic classes, topology of manifolds, bordism, homotopy, singularities, braids, coatings, topological data analysis (TDA), among others at the interface of algebraic and differential topology.
EBT offers activities from the basic level, for undergraduate and master students, to the advanced level, for researchers and doctoral students, such as communications, conferences, minicourses, and poster sessions.
